Money Matters opens Nov 3rd!

Money Matters cast (l to r): Al Johnson, Carly Persons, Mallary Josi, Rodney Dahl, Ann Harper, David Mattison

The Tillamook Association for the Performing Arts (TAPA) is excited to present “Money Matters” written by Michael Parker, and Susan Parker, and directed by Rikki Reid. Tickets for this comedic farce are on sale October 3rd.

The late Mr. Hammond spent twenty years printing $20 bills on a printing press he built in the basement of Monet Manor. After his death ten years ago, his faithful retainer George and his daughter Annie, continued the family business for Mr. Hammond’s widow who
recently passed away. Contrary to her promise to leave the manor and all her assets to George and Annie, she has bequeathed the manor to a stranger, Mr. Bud Davis, who is emphatic about turning it into a retirement home for ladies. Determined to keep the manor, Annie invites an old friend and sorority sister, Charmaine Beauregard, to play the role of a ghost, to help convince Bud that the manor is unsuitable for a retirement home because it is haunted.

The cast is made of up TAPA stage veterans David Mattison as George, Carly Persons as Annie, Al Johnson as Bud Davis, and Ann Harper as Marilena. Also joining the cast are newcomers Mallary Josi as Charmaine, and Rodney Dahl as Bernard.

Join TAPA for an Opening Night Gala celebration on November 3rd, where every ticket purchase includes complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a beverage of choice. Performances run November 3rd through November 19th. Friday and Saturday performances start at 7:00 pm, Sunday matinees start at 2:00 pm.

Tickets for this production are on sale October 3rd. As always, reserved seating is available and recommended through Diamond Art Jewelers located at 307 Main Street in Tillamook, or call 503-842-7940 for reservations. Tickets are $15 per person.
