TAPA News>>   TAPA's next event is The Foreigner
Directed by Cathy Bracelin
Presented May 2, 3, 9, 10, 11, 16, & 17, 2008

1960's Georgia, a quiet little fishing lodge gets an unusual guest, at least that is what his friend wants them to think. "Froggy" LaSeuer, a british demolitions expert, brings his pathologically shy young friend named Charlie to his favorite inn when he is in the United States. Due to Charlie's phobia of talking to strangers, Froggy tells everyone that Charlie is from an exotic foreign country and can't speak any English. Once alone, Charlie hears the confessions of a two-faced preacher and his redneck associate, the pregnancy of the preacher's fiancée, and many other damaging revelations.
Prominence Cast Announced

TAPA is pleased to announce that casting is complete for the world premiere production of Scott Malin's Prominence.
Well known actor and Netarts resident George Dzundza will direct this play. Cast members are Mark Johnson, Terri Winkle, Shadd Cunningham, Tami Taliaferro, T.J. Newton and Sandra Koops.
Prominence is the story of a father who, in the grips of a family tragedy must deal with his own guilt and the introduction into his life of an adult, autistic grandson. The core of the play revolves around the emotional journey of an ex-military man as he discovers what a precious gift family truly is. What he learns, by the mistakes he makes, is what generates the comedy and the drama of the play.

Performance dates are June 20, 21, 27, 28 & July 5 at 7:30PM and June 29 & July 6 at 2:00PM.
